In the Sichuan Chengdu Aviation Industry Park in Xindu District, Chengdu, innovative stories of the aviation manufacturing industry are unfolding every day.

On July 23rd, a reporter entered the production plant of Hanmo Industry Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Hanmo Industry") in the park. At this moment, a FZC2800DS dual-spindle horizontal five-axis linkage machine that integrates "high precision, high rigidity and high efficiency" was accelerating its operation, and a car rear floor was about to be die-cast.

Our product is based on a triangular stable architecture. The dual spindles are inclined forward by 15 degrees, which not only facilitates chip and oil removal but also enables the processing accuracy to be controlled at the micrometer level. Liang Zhijin, the chairman of the company, introduced that a traditional processing procedure that takes 25 minutes only takes 18 minutes here. The reduction in tool changing time directly improves production efficiency.

CNC machine tools are hailed as the "mother machines of industry" and occupy a core position in the high-end manufacturing industry. On May 16th of this year, with the official commissioning of the high-end industrial mother machine R&D and production base with a total investment of 300 million yuan, Hanmo Industry completed the overall relocation of its headquarters and officially settled in the Xindu High-tech Industrial Park.

When asked about the reasons for choosing Xindu, Liang Zhijin said that the cluster effect of the aviation industry in Chengdu is significant. There are over 30 supporting enterprises in the park, including both long-term cooperative customers and new partners in the process of negotiation. He disclosed that the company plans to start large-scale production in Chengdu. By the end of this year, the number of employees will expand to 150. In the next 3 to 5 years, it aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 300 to 500 units and an output value of 200 to 300 million yuan.

Sichuan Sichuan Aviation, located near Hanmo Industry, is also a leading player in this fertile industrial land. As a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the precise manufacturing of complex configurations for aviation equipment, SAN Chuan Aviation has achieved leapfrog development since its establishment in 2014. It moved to the industrial park in 2020 and was fully completed in 2023.

Miao Jian, the chairman of SAN Chuan Airlines, said that the complete industrial supporting facilities and policy support in the park have solved the problems of "upstream and downstream" coordination and "proximity to the building". The customer is right in the adjacent factory building. We can communicate in real time about production plan adjustments and process connections. This not only reduces costs and realizes centralized management, but also brings us closer to the customer.

Miao Jian elaborated in detail that since some customers also moved to the park, the production process has been comprehensively guaranteed, the logistics turnover cost has been significantly reduced, and the supply capacity of the production process has been notably enhanced. Intensive production has reduced logistics costs by nearly 60%, lowered management cycle time costs by 30%, and quadrupled production capacity.

There are also companies like Chengdu Aileida Aviation Manufacturing Co., LTD., which focus on the core links of aerospace precision manufacturing. Its business covers key products such as aircraft structural components, aero engine blades and casings, and large thin-walled structural components for aerospace. With its full-process manufacturing capabilities ranging from material forming, precision processing to surface treatment and inspection acceptance, its products have been widely applied in commercial aircraft and space launch equipment and other fields.

Journalists have learned that in the future, the industrial park will continue to promote the strengthening, extension and supplementation of the industrial chain. Based on the development concept of "starting from but not stopping at", it will intensify project attraction, encourage more enterprises in the park to enter the core supporting systems of COMAC, Shenyang Aircraft Corporation and Xi 'an Aircraft Industry, further expand the industrial scale, enhance competitiveness, and accelerate the agglomeration and take-off of the aerospace industry.
